Redesigned website to gain 10k-15k monthly visitors .
PPHS is an organization that works for patients' safety.
Challenge
Our challenge was to redesign the website to meet the needs of our two target audiences: clinicians and patients.
Detailed website audit
I conducted a detailed website design audit to gain a better understanding of the user experience and identify areas for improvement. Through a comprehensive analysis of the website's design and functionality, I was able to pinpoint specific pain points and opportunities for optimization. This allowed us to make informed design decisions and create a more effective and user-friendly website
Meeting the Needs of Two Audiences: Clinicians and Patients
The Second step of my design process was to identify the specific needs of both clinicians and patients. Using this information, I created two personas and shared with the team that guided our decision-making.
Name : Dr. Anna Lee
Profession : Cardiologist
Age : 42 years
Location : Los Angeles, California
Goals: Anna is a cardiologist who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and reducing medical errors. She is interested in sharing her experiences and insights with other healthcare professionals and hopes to contribute to the development of best practices for patient safety.
Pain points: Anna often feels frustrated by the lack of communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals, and has experienced first-hand how this can lead to medical errors and compromised patient outcomes. She also struggles to find opportunities to share her ideas and contribute to the larger healthcare community and sometimes feels isolated and unsupported in her efforts to improve patient safety. Additionally, Sarah is often short on time and has limited resources to devote to extracurricular activities, so she needs any involvement to be efficient and effective.
